in loving defense of greg :)

just so you know...

and just so you know, "just so you know" is a phrase i truly despise...

saturday's workout was rough. the pace of the pack has stepped up considerably, and greg jumped at every chance to kick his own butt, and he kicked it hard. while greg jumped long in every way, i, on the other hand, took every opportunity to stop several paces short of each drill (and still i felt sorry for myself when i had to then complete a full, real-life day). it's no wonder greg had to spew about his drinking and dialing, after all of his truly impressive gruntin' and sweatin'!

it was clear on saturday that each member of our entire team was pushing their own limits, so at the risk of using another dreaded phrase: GO TEAM! i mean 'club,' or whatever...this whole thing is so entirely un-exclusive and that, in itself, helps me so much to show up every saturday.

so again, i'd like to extend an invitation to anyone who wants to get their crazy on with free-and-open-to-the-public Team Zen. saturdays, 8am, at auditorium shores -- the more, the easier! (and you get free, delicious breakfast when we're done!)

p.s. - you only have to do it once. at the very least, you might feel good about that, and that the very best, you might find yourself hooked.
