Voter Registration Closes on April 23

By Sarah Marloff, April 19, 2018, 12:00pm, Newsdesk

Residents who register to vote on or before Monday, April 23, will be able to cast a ballot in the May 22 election run-off.

Registering is easy. Visit Travis County’s voter registration page to download a form, which can then be dropped off at the registrar’s office in person or mailed (so long as it’s postmarked by Monday).

Not sure if you’re registered? Visit Voter Express, enter the basics (name, birthday, election) and it’ll let you know if you’re in the system. Voter Express is also where residents can update home addresses, which is especially important since only residents living within the up-for-election state and congressional districts are able to vote in those races. Williamson County residents can do the same here.
