Poor Alex Jones. These days, with political communications directors waking up and wondering whether their boss will even condemn Nazis after what looks like a hate crime, it must be tough to find a sufficiently obtuse stance to reach the city jester’s levels of lunacy.
Breaking down the weekend in Charlottesville on his web show Sunday, the conspiracy theorist blabbered along with standard rhetoric about how the whole thing was a false flag meant to make conservatives look bad. But the meaty muttonhead also outdid himself with a new one: that a significant portion of the white nationalists provoking violence were Jewish Nazi re-enactors(!), and that Jones himself is in possession of footage of Nazi rallies in Austin “where it literally looks like the cast of Seinfeld or like Howard Stern in a Nazi outfit.” Jones went on to clarify that he had “nothing against Jews in general.” This from the guy who has previously claimed that the Sandy Hook massacre was a false flag, and that the Boston bombing was also staged – same goes for 9/11. Jones also recently had a guest on his show who claimed that NASA was running a child slavery ring on Mars. Which, maybe.
