There's an old saying: Don't ask, if you can't handle the answer. That's a lesson the Republican National Committee learned the hard way yesterday.

It seemed like a simple enough day on social media. The RNC, via the @GOP Twitter account, sent out a quick survey link, asking their followers questions like "Please pick the answer that best completes this sentence: the Republican National Committee is unique because it:"

However, it became clear that not everyone on the Internet was happy with choosing between a ("Fights Obama’s liberal agenda") and b ("Works to defeat Democrats.") Let's just say that they went a little bit off-script, and the Republicans got more feedback than they necessarily expected, Tweet-style.
