Mark Strama fails a test, Greg Abbott draws a line in the sand, and Ted Cruz spins a few yarns. International relations are on the News Feed.

• After reading Politifact's rundown of Ted Cruz's truthiness, it's unclear if we can believe anything he says. He says he's not Rand Paul in a Ronald Reagan wig, but have we really seen them together?

• Of all the vehicles to steal for scrap, an ambulance seems the most conspicuous. The thieves might have had better luck with one of Kim Jung-Un's missiles.

• While we're sure that Rep. Mark Strama's ownership of four Sylvan Learning Centers had nothing to with him voting against House Bill 5's reduction of high school math and science requirements, it did seem odd that he insisted the vote be cast by Scantron.

• The Mexican American Legislative Caucus isn't happy that Texas AG Greg Abbott has told Speaker Joe Strauss to adopt a San Antonio federal court's interim redistricting maps. Undeterred, Abbott pulled out a marker and gerrymandered the caucus out of his office.

• Now that Barton Springs Pool is reopening, it's time once again to go swimsuit shopping. Although Austin certainly has a rich retail culture, we still suggest going to Dallas.

• The latest numbers reveal that Texas added more than 80 thousand jobs in February. It's still not clear, however, if any of those workers are actually doing anything.

• Today marks the start of the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, your annual chance to spring clean racists from your Facebook newsfeed.

• The Republican Party's mission to lure Latino voters isn't going all that well.
