Emergency called at 2pm for all buildings, now just elementary

Breaking News: Lake Travis ISD on Lockdown

Lake Travis ISD has placed Lake Travis Elementary and the adjoining Educational Development Center on lockdown while police investigate reports of suspicious activity near district facilities.

According to the district's communication department, initially all their campuses were placed on lockdown at 2pm. However, by 2.30pm they had opened all campuses except the elementary back up while they complete their search.
