So, how’s that Comprehensive Plan treating you, Austin?
The long awaited, controversial doc’s still winding its way through the gauntlet, although City Council action is in the pipeline – and a meeting’s on tap for tonight.
A Comp Plan briefing’s coming to council Thursday, presaging council action the following meeting. Associate Planner Gregory Claxton weighs in with more:
Last Tuesday night, Planning Commission forwarded the Preferred Growth Scenario and endorsed the Plan Framework (with modifications), sending both to City Council for consideration on March 10.See the revised Plan Framework: http://www.imagineaustin.net/plan-framework.htm.
City Council will get briefed on the Framework and Scenario this Thursday, March 3, in preparation for a public hearing and action scheduled for March 10.
