Gov. Perry's new slogan sounds awfully familiar

If there's one thing that Democrats and Gov. Rick Perry can agree on it's that Perry's new campaign slogan, Moving Texas Forward, is a great slogan: So great, in fact, that it's been the Texas Democratic Party's slogan for the last four years.
The phrase, and the Keep Texas Moving Forward variant, appear multiple times on Perry's campaign blog. Phillip Martin, communications specialist for the Texas Democratic Trust, said, "It's been the Texas Democratic Party's slogan since 2006, and it was the title of (Democratic gubernatorial candidate) Bill White's first TV ad," which went online on Feb. 1.
