Public Process Starts on Bus Fare Increases

Last month, the Capital Metro Board of Directors approved a staff proposal to bump the scheduled August fare increases up to January. Before they can make a final vote on that, however, they are required to gather public input. The schedule for that is after the jump (sorry, the first event has already passed):

Capital Metro values your opinion. Staff will host public meetings October 13-21, to talk with you about the proposed fares:

DOWNTOWN | Capital Metro Transit Store 323 Congress Ave, Tuesday, Oct. 13, Noon-1:30 p.m. Bus Routes: All downtown routes

EAST | ACC Eastview Campus 3401 Webberville Rd, #8111 Monday, Oct. 19, 6-7:30 p.m. Bus Routes: 2, 17, 300

NORTH | Goodwill Community Facility 1015 Norwood Park Blvd, #1124 Tuesday, Oct. 20, 6-7:30 p.m. Bus Routes: 325, 339

SOUTH | ACC South Campus 1820 W Stassney Ln, #1130 Wednesday, Oct. 21, 6-7:30 p.m. Bus Routes: 3, 311

Attend the public hearing with the Capital Metro Board.

CAPITAL METRO | 2910 E 5th St Wednesday, Oct. 28, 5-7 p.m. Bus Routes: 4, 17, 100, 300, 320
