Polls Close at 7pm
Did everybody vote early?
By Lee Nichols, 6:12PM, Tue. Nov. 4, 2008
I just spent the past hour hitting polling places on my way down to the Driskill Hotel, site of the Travis County Democratic Party's election-watching bash. The whole way I kept hearing reports on the radio of long lines at polling places around the nation. That must be in states that didn't have early voting, because I found the opposite to be true in central Austin. There were no lines, no waiting. Did everyone vote early?
Go vote now, and then go party!
