… Galveston County gets a National Weather Service warning saying this (italics ours):
PERSONS NOT HEEDING EVACUATION ORDERS IN SINGLE FAMILY ONE OR TWO STORY HOMES MAY FACE CERTAIN DEATH.
P.S. Dumb headline of the day: "Brave Few Plan to Ride Out Ike." Um … no. Let's not confuse stupidity with bravery. As one reader replied to that story, the truly brave are the emergency workers who will have to bail those idiots out when they start calling for help.
