The Austin ISD Board of Trustees has just voted to rename the former Johnston High, and gone with (drum roll please) Eastside Memorial High School at the Johnston Campus.

This is a composite name after the lengthy public consultation process, where the words memorial, East Austin, Eastside and Johnston swirled around in various different combinations.
