So what was it like to be one of the fortunate few who actually got into the Obama-Clinton CNN/Univision debate last week? Don't ask us &ndash as we noted previously, the media were actually banned from the debate hall and shunted off to a media room downstairs from the fireworks, where we just had to watch it on TV like the rest of you.
However, a friend of mine was one of the lucky 100 who won a lottery held by the Texas Democratic Party for admission. Pretty amazing odds, considering 43,000 applied for those hundred seats. She has a blog recounting of it here, including the amusing story of how she could identify herself on TV later simply by seeing her hand. Enjoy.
