Q&A Hole: Austin Musicians vs. the Grim Reaper
What game would you choose to challenge death?

The Grim Reaper, personification of death, snatcher of souls, the cloaked skeleton who appears right before you take your last breath. Death is said to have no mercy, but loves to gamble. So ….
“You die in a freak accident and now have to beat the Grim Reaper at a game of your choice in order to win back your soul and keep living. What game do you choose?”
That’s the question I popped on a group of Austin musicians for the latest episode of Q&A Hole. As fielded by Acey Monaro from Go Fever, Gina Chavez, the Teeta, Juli Keller and Cody Dosier of Being Dead, and Roky Moon of American Sharks, responses to the unexpected life-or-death query proved brave.
Questions for the Chronicle’s Q&A Hole series are conceived by myself, Kevin Curtin. It’s shot and edited by John Anderson, produced by Tamar Price, and Jana Birchum handles audio. Timothy Abdnour, Jonas Wilson, and myself knocked out the theme song.
