Proper Nang is a Brit term for the very coolest. I first started writing about Austin’s teen scene a year ago. Here are the latest PN trends of the current under-18 (U18) front.
A few things that may or may not surprise you: Wayne’s World and That ’70s Show have become teen cult classics, many teens prefer the rock music of the Seventies, and the classic novel is still “in.”
I polled musicians from the Proper Nang scene for some A-Z favorites from the next generation. Interviewees: Ramona Beattie, Laurel Elm, Juanita Escovedo, Ariel Herrera, Arvind Hathaway, Addy Hernandez, Lili and Io Hickman, Dagny Hines, Payton Keller, Zach Larson, Grace London, Maia Medel, Ment Morris, Emily Orr, Devin North, Finley Sexton, Gemma Smith, Georgia Speice, Nate West.
