SXSW Music Wristbands On Sale Today
First batch of SXSW Music wristbands on sale this morning

South by Southwest Music wristbands go on sale this morning, February 2, at 10am. All advance sales are through the local festival's website.
Today's tease tallies 2,000 wristbands at the price of $149, including tax, with SXSW promising that when those sell out another 2,000 will be put on sale for $175. “Sales are limited to Austin area residents.”
The rules: “Individuals may purchase one wristband for themselves and one for another person whose name must be provided at the time of purchase. Online purchase requires a credit card with a billing zip code in the Austin area.”
More wristbands go on sale during the conference, which this year runs Tuesday, March 13, through Sunday, March 18. For more information, see SXSW.
