Dr. Demento

Dick Price pops up again

Dr. Demento

The last time Dick Price surfaced, he was playing an intimate series of shows in his home, an offshoot of his Dial-a-Tune project.

That was more than five years ago, but Price has been an Austin fixture for a long time, dishing out upbeat novelty music with tongue firmly in cheek.

July 8 and 9 at Salvage Vanguard Theater, you've got another golden chance to catch the man, the myth, the Dick. Tickets here. Between him and R. Stevie Moore at Emo's July 1, it's gonna be a delightfully weird month.
