Your Song Here

Do you have what it takes to write an Austin anthem?

Your Song Here

The Austin Visitor’s and Convention Bureau needs a jingle to accompany its Live Music Capital of the World campaign. Submissions are being accepted through Apr. 10 for the first annual Austin Song Contest, which aims to find an original song that best encapsulates the ATX experience.

The winner receives a cool grand and placement on ACVB’s next compilation. Their latest, Austin Music Volume 8, gets formally released at Antone’s on Thursday, Feb. 26, with performances from contributors Drew Smith, Guy Forsyth, Kat Edmonson, Dan Dyer, and Randy Weeks. Complete details at austinmusic.org.
