Maybe it has something to do with Ray Benson's connection to Paul Shaffer, but The Late Show with David Letterman has been extremely kind to local bands as of late (Okkervil River, Randy Rogers, Alejandro Escovedo). Heartless Bastards stop by tonight in support of their latest, The Mountain.
