Beyond the valley of Free Week

I'm sure you've all been enjoying the fiscal freedom of Free Week in the Emo's/Mohawk/Club de Ville/Red 7 round – and you should definitely check out the Lineup for music from Free Week acts – but what else is going on?
Clementine Coffee Bar celebrates its third anniversary tomorrow with caffeinated sets from Loxsly, A Faulty Chromosome, Pink Nasty, the Laughing, Golden Bear, and more, starting at 2pm. Dark Pink, Austin's own Dark Side of the Moon tribute, goes for the fringe at Scoot Inn.
Then Saturday night at the same place, DJ Sue brings her Fuzz Club back to town with live music from Teen Sensations. Also on the Eastside, catch Business Deal Records' listening party for their new Band Lotto release at Okay Mountain. 4pm.
A note to readers: Bold and uncensored, The Austin Chronicle has been Austin’s independent news source for over 40 years, expressing the community’s political and environmental concerns and supporting its active cultural scene. Now more than ever, we need your support to continue supplying Austin with independent, free press. If real news is important to you, please consider making a donation of $5, $10 or whatever you can afford, to help keep our journalism on stands.
