Two Men Attacked Friday
If you know anything please step forward

Another gay bashing took place last Friday near the downtown gayborhood.
According to reports, Andrew Oppleman and his friend Mike Soret were getting pizza at Ropollo's near Fourth and Colorado when a man attacked Mike. Andrew courageously stepped in and ended up being punched so hard he lost eight teeth. The attacker is still at large, and his friend who laughed the entire time it took place is not cooperating with police.
We can't even imagine how Andrew feels right now. This is outrageous! What are we going to do about this? Can we not feel safe in our own neighborhoods? And what about everyone who witnessed this? There must of been tons of queers around. Did anyone try to stop the guy from escaping in any way? This guy may never be caught. You have to act when it happens.
Call Austin Police if you know ANYthing. Go to K-VUE for more on the story.
