Hot Sauce Festival Winners 2018
The judges – and the people – have crowned their local hot sauce royalty
By Jessi Cape, 1:25PM, Mon. Aug. 27, 2018
Not even the 100-degree heat on Sunday, Aug. 26, could keep thousands of attendees from tasting hundreds of hot sauces at the 28th Annual Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival. Thanks to everyone who braved the heat and helped us benefit the Central Texas Food Bank!

Restaurants, commercial bottlers, and individuals submitted their concoctions to be judged by more than 50 judges, and the official results are in.
