Music lovers and food enthusiasts can now party together even sooner with Hot Luck Festival’s newly announced, unofficial opening event MUNCHIES and Friends: Matty Matheson X Cholula Hot Sauce.
On Wednesday, May 23, Franklin BBQ founder Aaron Franklin joins forces in East Austin with Contigo's executive chef Andrew Wiseheart and Vice food personality Matty Matheson to bring a ranch-inspired barbecue experience to Contigo’s parking lot.
Tickets for the savory event are now on sale. But, if you miss this rage because you're bad at calendars, he'll also participate in the Coup de Grille event on Sunday, May 27 at Austin Speed Shop. Franklin will be working alongside a variety of chefs, including Olamaie’s Michael Fojtasek, Valentina’s Tex-Mex’s Miguel Vidal, and Yoshi Okai from Otoko.
“Show Snacks” is returning this year to set visitors’ senses on fire with food and music collaborations between stars like Top Chef winner Kristen Kish and DJ Questlove and a Hot Snakes tribute by Olympia Provisions' Elias Cairo.
The super show fest runs May 24-27. A portion of the festival's proceeds benefits the SAFE Alliance.
