Two of life’s greatest guilty pleasures are candy and vodka, and that’s the driving sentiment behind the recent partnership of L.A.-based Sugarfina and Austin’s own Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
There’s probably an excuse to indulge and celebrate this unexpected marriage during an upcoming holiday or two, wouldn’t you say?
Sugarfina is more than sweets; it’s a brand-focused candy boutique for grownups. Peach Bellini and rosé gummies, tequila-infused chocolate, and 24-carat gold-encrusted rock candy line the shelves stacked high with sugary confections, but now there’s a new line at the forefront: Sugarfina X Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
“We were so excited when Sugarfina reached out with the idea for vodka-inspired candies. They do such beautiful work, and we just knew they’d come up with an incredible way to represent our vodka within their craft,” says Nicole Portwood, Tito's VP of marketing.
Included in the sweet lineup are American Mule Bears (gummy bears infused with vodka), Tito’s Vodka Cordials (chocolate spheres with a sip of vodka inside), and Martini Olive Almonds (dipped in white chocolate and painted to look like an olive). The cordials are the only items that can’t be purchased in stores or ordered and shipped to Texas through Sugarfina.com because they contain straight alcohol.
There’s also a Candy Bento Box with bears, almonds, and a copper mini mule mug, all wrapped up in a sleek gift box. Because vodka-infused candy is always a great idea.
