Hot Sauce Festival Winners 2017

The critics and people have spoken

People braved the 100-degree heat on Sunday, Aug. 20, to taste hundreds of hot sauces. They were also treated to food, live music, and a proclamation from Mayor Steve Adler declaring the day Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival Day.

Restaurants, commercial bottlers, and individuals submitted their creations, and the brave palates of the judges and attendees separated the spicy from the dicey. Thanks to everyone who came out and got sweaty with us!
