East Austin Urban Farm Tour Announces Lineup

By Brandon Watson, April 5, 2016, 10:00am, On the Range

We don’t know what your life looks like, but we are guessing that you do not have all that many opportunities to spend quality time with chickens and bunnies. And you probably have not dined at all of the 500 bajillion restaurants that have opened in Austin in the last hour.

Since we are all about lifehacks here at the Chronicle food desk, we are going to tell you how to achieve both squad goals in one afternoon. Farmhouse Delivery is presenting the seventh annual East Austin Urban Farm Tour between 1-5pm on Sunday, April 17, with bites from some of Austin’s best restaurants and sips from some of the best beverage artisans. The four participating farms will also be offering guided tours of the properties and other educational opportunities (we are not counting Instagram photo-ops as “educational” opportunities, but you do you). The $55 ticket benefits the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance and its work to support independent family farms.

Without further ado, here’s this year’s lineup.
