Sway Celebrates Thai New Year With Special Dishes

Thailand's Songkran festival takes its name from the Sanskrit word for "astrological passage" and commemorates the coming of the New Year. The kitchen at Sway offers an enticing list of special menu items to enhance the celebration.

The Songkran menu will be available April 13-19. Sway's entire regular menu will be available, as always, but be sure to check out the newest items, listed below.

Mango Salad: mango three ways with crispy ginger, purple yam, bean sprouts, Thai herbs, shiso, coconut-shrimp dressing $9

Thai Tempura Eggplant: ash-roasted eggplant, singha tempura, Thai sambal, mint $10

Ma Po Tofu: pork loin, wine, peas, Szechuan peppercorns $12

Soft Shell Chili Crab: salt & pepper soft shell crab, crispy brussels sprouts, Thai herbs, chili dressing $17

Coconut Clams: little neck clams, coconut, chile, Thai herbs $14

Coconut Pudding Cake: peanut, lime pandan ice cream $9
