P. Terry's Launches Catering Truck

Local favorite burger chain goes mobile

This past Wednesday, popular local burger chain P. Terry's debuted its bright-blue catering truck, designed to bring its beloved burgers and shakes to private events hither and yon.

While day party-goers might have glimpsed the truck during SXSW, it's now official: The P. Terry's truck is open for business. Don't look for it at the nearest food court or outside the hottest new East side bar. Rather, this is a catering operation available to hire for corporate events, weddings, graduation parties, and so on.

Patrons can select the catering package that best suits their needs and budget, and workers will cook the burgers and fries to order on-site.

While enjoying the launch event, we decided to try the new, limited-time-only caramel turtle fudge shake. Caramel and pecan pieces are blending into a chocolate-shake base; lovers of the classic caramel candy who like their ice cream treats chunky should definitely check it out.
