Those aspiring to spend their South by Southwests sampling new hamburgers coming to town will now have the opportunity, thanks to one extremely auspicious food truck.

This morning, Shake Shack, the uncommonly popular burger joint that’s spent the past decade setting the world ablaze from all points between Florida, New York, England, and Kuwait, announced it will offer Austinites excited about the restaurant’s Oct. 2014 inclusion into the Austin Burger Conversation a free sampling of what they’ll be eating when the first Texan Shake Shack opens at Lamar Union.

The company also announced it’s set to open a second Austin location – the Domain – at some point in early 2015.

This is excellent news for people who enjoy waiting in long lines for ground beef while Interactive innovation and next-age film and music literally rolls out down the street. The truck, a cobranded operative between Shake Shack and Late Night with Seth Meyers, will pull up its brakes at Sixth and Red River for three days (March 8-10) before relocating onto East Sixth Street between Brushy and San Marcos for the rest of the conference.
