Animal lovers and foodies may unite once again for a mutually beneficial local cause: Emancipet’s 4th annual Sit Stay Day. Each unique kit features a bounty of local goodies, to be delivered on February 13, and helps Emancipet continue to offer low-cost and free veterinary services.

The assortment of gourmet treats differs for each kit, and each selection is designed for a perfect evening at home. Ingredients to make a lovely meal, snacks and coffee and dog toys, adult beverages from Tito’s Vodka and Independence Brewing Co., sweet treats from Sweet Ritual, gift cards to local restaurants such as Home Slice Pizza and Komè Sushi Kitchen, and even healthy treats for the pets that inspire such philanthropy add up to a delicious deal, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Emancipet’s nonprofit network of clinics and programs provides the affordable and accessible spay/neuter services and preventive veterinary care services that help prevent animal homelessness and help both pets and owners enjoy the company of one another for as long as possible.

A handful of the long list of sponsors include: Black Star Co-op Pub and Brewery, Bouldin Creek Cafe, Confituras, Hillside Farmacy, Freddie’s Place, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, olive & june, Happy Hemp, JuiceLand, P.Terry’s, Amy’s Ice Cream, and Go Local Austin.

See the website for more details (and a more extensive list of sponsors and goodies). The limited supply of Sit Stay Kits are $175, which includes delivery, and may be ordered here.
