East Side King partners Paul Qui and Moto Utsunomiya announced the opening of their long-awaited South Austin brick-and-mortar location today.

This new shop is the second brick-and-mortar outlet of the popular local Asian-fusion chain. The first is located at the popular Drag music venue, the Hole in the Wall (2538 Guadalupe) and has been open for a little over a year.

According to a recent email from Deana Saukam, the new shop will have beer and wine on tap and will feature "Classics" from the East Side King at the Liberty Bar (1618 E. Sixth) menu such as Thai Chicken Karaage, Brussels Sprouts Salad, Poor Qui's Buns, Beet Home Fries, Liberty Rice, Tori Meshi, and Veggie Meshi. The menu also features five tacos, including moshi, octopus, and spicy chicken.
