Culinary thrill seekers are invited to the East Austin bungalow that houses Beetnik's test kitchen and business offices to enjoy local beers, wines, cocktails, and coffees along with live music from Mini Pony and the Lennings. The party is sponsored by the friendly folks at Citygram magazine

Beetnik's founding chef David Perkins has challenged Barley Swine pastry chef Kyle McKinney to a Bobby Flay-style throwdown where they'll both be cooking beef shin. Guests will have a chance to vote for the winner and to sample tasty tidbits from some of Beetnik's food suppliers. East End Wines, Starlite Vodka, Flat Track Coffee, and Hops & Grain Brewery will supply the libations. Purchase $20 advance tickets here.
