From raising rabbits to aquaculture, there are plenty of hot button issues when it comes to addressing pending updates to the urban farm ordinance.

Next Monday, April 22, the Process and Code Coordination Working Group of the Sustainable Food Policy Board will be hosting one of three working sessions open to the public. In an effort to gain feedback while revising Austin's urban farm ordinance, the first topic will focus on animal raising and aquaponics. Up-to-date information will be shared with attendees and participants are encouraged to contribute their ideas and concerns.

For more information, contact Heather Frambach at heather.frambach@austintexas.gov or Katherine Avalos Nicely at katherine.nicely@gmail.com

Mon., April 22, 5-7pm. Cepeda Library, 651 N Pleasant Valley Rd. 974-7372.
