Le Bistrette Bistro Open at ACC
On-campus restaurant serves lunch one day a week during semester

Culinary students at the Austin Community College Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd) look forward to the American Regional Cuisines class because it provides them with hands-on experience in all aspects of the restaurant business. Hungry diners in the know look forward to it because it means a bargain on really good food with no tipping required.
Le Bistrette is the on-campus eatery that pops-up at ACC Eastview every semester, giving culinary students the opportunity for hands-on experience in all aspects of the restaurant business. The menu offers some regular items enhanced by regional specialties from around the country every week; the prices are very affordable and tips are not accepted. It's one of the best lunch deals in town. Le Bistrette is a big win for everyone involved.
"The restaurant gives our students the opportunity to see what it is like to work in a real kitchen," says Chef Sandi Pepper, chair of the Culinary Arts Department. "It's technical training, but it's also gratifying for the students to see how much the college and the community enjoy what they've prepared."
It is not necessary to make reservations at Le Bistrette and the very affordable menu is available online. Although gratuities are not accepted, they will ask you to fill out a comment card about your meal to help students learn for your experience.
