Thanksgiving comes early this year, so the time to order sweets and other holiday meal enhancements is hard upon us. Area bakeries, restaurants, and market bakers are will gladly provide sweets for the holiday table. Plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and caterers are geared up to create meals and sides for those who don't plan to cook.

Texas Pie Kitchen (order@texaspiekitchen.org, 814-7743) pre- order online by Nov. 17 and get times and location for pre-Thanksgiving pick-up.

Tiny Pies (468-4772; www.tinypies.com) Pre-order tiny or not so tiny pies to be picked up at their stall at the Barton Creek Farmers’ Market on Saturday before Thanksgiving or by appointment at their kitchen.

Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop (1905 S. First, 448-3727; www.sugarmamasbakeshop.com) Pumpkin cheesecake bars, Great Pumpkin cakes, and pumpkin bread loaves for November.

Foreign & Domestic(306 East 53rd; 459-1010; www.fndaustin.com) Order several varieties of pies with drizzling sauces online until noon Nov. 18 for pick-up at the restaurant.

Go Go Gourmet(104-C East 31, 589-6063) Back in business, these guys are making four kinds of pie ($24) as well as side dishes and appetizers. Call ahead for store pick-up.

Spirited Foods (844-1833; www.spiritedfood.com) Chef Andrew is preparing everything from holiday brunch dishes to meats and side to desserts. Pre-order online or by phone by midnight Nov. 17 for either delivery (small fee) or pick-up at the kitchen by Nov. 21.

Lee’s Meat Market(1601 W. 38th #12, 467-6700; www.leesmeatmarket.com) Offers cooked holiday meats, raw meats, and holiday meat gift boxes, plus a full menu of appetizers, holiday dinners, platters, side dishes, and desserts.

Dewberry Hills Farm (512/308-7706; www.dhfarms.com) Every year, this farm raises 6-10 lb antibiotic free, pastured jumbo roasting chickens as an alternative to Thanksgiving turkeys. Pre-order for pick-up at SFC Farmers’ Markets Downtown or in Sunset Valley. on Saturday, Nov. 19.

Richardson Farms (www.richardsonfarms.com; jrdvm72@aol.com) The Richardsons have their wonderful turkeys again this year: Standard Bronze heritage breed ($8lb) and Broad Breasted White ($4lb). Order online or via email and each order requires a $25 deposit. Arrange to pick up birds at their farmers’ market stalls at Barton Creek Mall, Sunset Valley, Burnet Road on Saturday, Nov 17 or at the Triangle market on Wednesday, Nov. 21
