Texas PodAcalypse Takes the Show on the Road

Last April, Matt Blake (of WhiskyBoy Radio) and Lanie Hobbs (of True Crime Fan Club) hosted a meet-up at the Will Call Bar in Deep Ellum. After a surge of enthusiasm from the North Texas community, the duo decided to take Texas PodAcalypse on the road, setting their sights on Austin Sat., Aug. 25, and Houston this winter.
Matt and Lanie have well over a decade of combined podcast experience between them. Blake’s WhiskeyBoy Radio is a music-focused variety show that boasts a wide-ranging list of featured guests, like Chris Jericho from the WWE. Hobbs’ True Crime Fan Club goes in-depth on tragic homicides and hate crimes, including the murder of Darrell “Dimebag” Abbott of Panterra.
Texas PodAcalypse will feature live recordings of several noteworthy Texas podcasts, including the hosts’ respective shows.
