First Plates

How we're celebrating First Plates and how you can join us!

Our First Plates issue is on stands now and it’s kind of important. It means that you can finally stop guessing if that Thai or barbecue spot is worth checking out, and trust the expertise of our writers and new Food Editor Brandon Watson.

They've selected the Top 100 restaurants defining Austin dining and for the first time, Brandon Watson and Virginia B. Wood have selected their top 10 faves.

We can’t celebrate something this big just once, so we’ve put together a week of events that are sure to get you excited about this issue and Austin’s food scene. Plus, when you attend any of our food events this week you can enter to win a SXSW music wristband. You can enter once at each party, so come hang with us!
