“Save the Noise” on east 6th street with Cheer Up Charlie’s

Party all day until they make you turn the music off.

“Save the Noise” on east 6th street with Cheer Up Charlie’s

Music is being threatened on the eastside, and Cheer Up Charlie’s needs your support today as they turn it up and get down at “Save The Noise! An End of summer semi-legal spectacular.”

As the government puts a ten o’clock bedtime on east Sixth Street music, Cheer Up Charlie’s has decided to rock out all day instead to make sure the neighbors know they can’t stomp out all our fun! And they’re doing it in style with special guest, JD Samson. You might remember Samson as the bad-ass keyboardist of feminist electro-punk band, Le Tigre, or the keytar for Peaches. She’s now the front woman of her very own LGBT electro-pop band, MEN. She definitely knows how to get a dance party going and she’s the cherry on top of a delicious line-up of DJs for the event, including Learning Secrets, Deep Cuts and MouthFeel.

There will also be literature on how you can get involved to protect music at all reasonable hours.

Let’s all join Cheer Up Charlie’s as they show the government, neighbors and everyone else just how we do it on the eastside.

Where: Cheer Up Charlie's, 1104 E 6th St.
When: Today, Saturday, September 1st, 3-10pm
