Texas Student Television Goes Live 24/7

The Chrontourage goes behind the scenes with TSTV

Texas Student Television (TSTV) is the only 100% student-run, student-produced, student-operated, FCC-licensed, digitally broadcasting college television station in the nation. Already with a station-record number of shows in their twenty years of broadcasting, TSTV is taking on yet another feat: going live 24Seven for an entire week.

Today is Day Two of TSTV's 24Seven live content week, and we've already seen Jazzercise, Local Live Austin and Shenanigan's TSTV. The week will continue with old favorites, like Videogame Hour Live and College Pressbox, but also introduce new, one-of-a-kind shows, like pie-eating contests and an entire segment devoted to cat lovers. TSTV will continue running live through this Saturday, April 28th, bringing you around-the-clock entertainment from UT students.

If you (still) have an antennae TV can tune into 29.1 in Austin, and UT dorm students can turn to channel 15 to find TSTV. The rest of us can tune in every weeknight at 9 pm on public access channel 16 or 10.16. You can also join the conversation on TSTV's Facebook page or follow them on Twitter for 24Seven (#24Seven) live streaming.
