Do you love Austin? Do you love experiencing all of the fun stuff that Austin has to offer? Do you love showing other people what Austin has to offer? Well then the Chrontourage wants you!

We are currently looking for a group of energetic people to join the Austin Chronicle's Chrontourage promotions street team!

So what does that mean? Basically we are looking for people who are self-motivated, who love Austin and love to explore our fair city and sharing that love with others!

Responsibilities of the Chrontourage include:
-Attending concerts, clubs, festivals, and special events to promote the Chronicle and it's advertisers
-Provide support during Chronicle special events including SXSW, Hot Sauce Festival, On The Chron Happy Hours, etc.
-Take pictures or video to help document events and their attendees.
-Provide a brief written summary of each event for the Chrontourage photo gallery and/or blog.
-Work with the Chronicle's Promotions Manager to find cool events around Austin each week.

Bonus points if you:
-are over 21 (must be at least 18 years old)
-have regular access to a digital camera (video or still)
-have some daytime availability during part of the week for SXSW (March 13-19) to help at the Chronicle's tradeshow booth.

Positions with the Chrontourage are unpaid but do provide a number of perks such as access to concert venues, movie passes, fantastic networking opportunities, potential class credit for students and resume experience.
