Keep it Bookmarked here, friends. This updated list of flood relief efforts (updated with over 20 new items, 9am, 6/12) continues to bring you the latest, as new good deeds and resources pop up and Texas begin to heal. Please share the love and spread the word.
As relief floods in, the situation on the ground all over Texas has shifted a bit. We've reorganized this page to keep you updated with the changes in information you need to either get or give assistance. • Metallica Download Donation All money raised from the sales of downloads of Metallica’s live show at the X Games will go to Central Texas Red Cross. Runs until July 15.
• Rockin’ the Recovery Sat., June 20, at Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley featuring Sarah Jarosz, Shake Russell, and Kim Miller

• Multi-Agency Flood Victim Resource Centers are open in Wimberley, Blanco, and San Marcos
• Enter your address at DisasterAssistance.gov to learn for what assistance you qualify
• Need furniture? Dianne Flack Furniture in San Marcos is giving away gently used pieces and helping broker donations from other furniture dealers

• San Marcos has two different places you can go to get your FEMA on (aka fill out forms if you are a homeowner, renter, or biz and sustained damage)
• Barbabas Connection has started and is soliciting info for a Flood Housing Information bank
• The Texas Dept. of Housing & Community Affairs offers a list of affordable apartments in your area
• Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) Applications must be submitted by July 1, 2015

• UT-Austin's iSchool offers assistance and information in the rescue and preservation of precious print items, documents, and heirlooms.
• In fact, when the Wimberley Village Library no longer had space or capacity to handle many found photos, the UT iSchool took over the project at the Katherine Anne Porter School in Wimberley
