The local University Lutheran Student Center is scheduled for demolition in September to make way for brand new facilities. The public is being afforded the opportunity to own a piece of history and nostalgia from the contents and furnishings of the present edifice. Cash and checks with ID are accepted. This is the estate of a former antique dealer and designer with exquisite taste who cleared out his closets, storage, and home to downsize. Find everything from kitchenware to furniture, and from garden accessories to textiles. Concrete garden statues and accent pieces, wire and metal yard art, beautiful pots for flowers, wire and metal benches, frames, and mirrors fill the yard and back patio. 1940's wood and neon sign spelling out "Flowers" in script letters; industrial shelving; French armoire; MCM Brown & Saltman cabinet; MCM Widdicomb chest; green-washed fork art corner shelf; lots of vintage fabrics, pillows, and textiles, and some rugs. Dishes, pottery, vaseline glass, silver-plated items, huge glass vessels, decorative items.
