Austin Fashion Week Recommended: April 27

There is too much to do before the evening's Butterfly Kisses, Benefiting Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas event at Swift's Attic (315 Congress, 7pm). The benefit wardrobe is from Signature Bridal and select accessories from Shalottlilly. These looks are for your consideration straight from the runway with 100% of proceeds going to BCRC of Texas.

We know that at 4pm we want to be front and center for Manic Trout, Ilonka Designs, and *annemarie* Style for the Individual, who joined forces with Eastside gallery Link & Pin (2235 E. Sixth #102, 4pm) to bring you an evening of fashion, art and design at the event Figure Study. The art show "Figure Study" will hang in the gallery, featuring works celebrating the female form by four Austin artists. With so much going on late in the day, it's a good idea to get the manicure touch up early on. So head to Mimi-Manis, Mimosas, and Stella & Dot at Retreat Nail Bar (4615 N. Lamar #300, 11am-1pm), and when your nails are dry take a look at Stella & Dot's newest clutches. San Antonio's Salato Designs, a beachy boho chic handbag and accessories brand, teams up with STILL&SEA bikini boutique for Bringing a Little Aloha to Y'all (2110 S. Lamar, 1-4pm) where you'll enjoy more than the 15% off promotion on Hawaii-designed swimwear line, Posh Pua. Designer Rick Gonyo drops his new evening wear label ELRICK with a bevy of models as well as performances by Melanie Phillips; A Capella Diva, Julie C. Brown; and Adam Carmichael. Run into them at the cash bar at Departure Lounge (311 W. Fifth, 4-7pm). Doesn't mens fashion deserve some love this week? Join Dandy's (411 Brazos #110, 4-7pm) for an open house with fellow locals, West China Tea serving up "Cockteals" which are crafted traditional Chinese teas with spirits. The new hat and new boot collection is available if your vision isn't blurred by the drinks. Come rain or the creek rising, we wouldn't miss Signature Betty! at Urban Betty (1206 W. 38th, 6-8pm), benefiting the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas. Expect snacks and Deep Eddy Vodka, as well as a "Signature Curl, Braid, and Nail Bar" and Acui Therapy massage therapists and acupuncturists so you can get the full Betty experience.
