Michael Frary Estate Sale
Michael Frary was a widely celebrated Texas modernist painter and Professor Emeritus of Art at University of Texas, where he taught for thirty years and served on the athletic committee. His wife, Peggy Frary, was honored as a Yellow Rose of Texas by Governor Rick Perry. She was previously married to Christy Matthewson Jr., the son of Hall of Fame baseball legend, Christy Matthewson (New York Giants). Some of the items in the house are from the Matthewson family.
