Point Your Face at Demetri Martin

Comedian speaks at BookPeople today

Point Your Face at Demetri Martin

"I was on the street. This guy waved to me, and he came up to me and said, 'I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else.' And I said, 'I am.'" – Demetri Martin

There will be no mistaking Martin today at BookPeople. He'll be the funny brown-haired fellow at the front of the long, long line of people waiting to meet the comedian and author after he speaks about his new book, Point Your Face at This.

Martin is best known for his punchy one-liners (a la Mitch Hedberg) and simple charts and graphs. Case in point: "Some jokes are short and elegant, like a mathematical proof or a midget in a ball-gown."

Demetri Martin speaks at BookPeople (603 N. Lamar) at 3:30pm today. The speaking portion of the event is free and open to the public, but tickets (available with the purchase of a copy of Martin's new book) are required for the signing. See the BookPeople website for complete event details or to order a copy of Point Your Face at This.
