Heavy Metal, Turtles and Troublemakers

TMNT creator Kevin Eastman on the next Rodriguez project

Last year at San Diego Comic Con, Robert Rodriguez announced that he had picked up the rights to make a movie of legendary adult anthology comic Heavy Metal. So with publisher/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman in Austin last weekend for Staple!, we had to ask him: Where's the film?

Eastman was really at Staple! to talk about his return to the comic that made him a comics industry giant, the original heroes in a half shell. He's been away from the turtles for a decade, but now he's back, writing and drawing on their latest adventures through IDW Publishing. Check out this video of his detailed and fascinating explanation of why he left the Turtles and why he went back to the sewer.
