What’s that you say? You’re stuck in your house or your apartment or whatever, due to you-know-what, and this feeling doesn’t really make sense, but for some reason you’ve got the most urgent hankering to see … some local live theatre right now?

Like, a local production with local actors, doing their onstage thing to portray a compelling and maybe even lightly humor-riddled drama for your entertainment?
Well, citizen, you are so lucky.
Or, rather, you can see So Lucky, the current co-production from Sad Girls and Lucky Chaos – a show that’s now playing at Ground Floor Theatre and but also streaming LIVE over these here internets.
So Lucky, written by Sandy Lam and directed by Thanh Bui, in which Penelope Huang, an Asian-American woman putting on her city's first ever Lunar New Year Festival, tries to reconcile with the past in order to piece together her present.
(We daresay that might serve as a good example of what we’ll all have to be doing, eventually, once this pathogenic shitstorm passes: reconciling with the past in order to piece together whatever oddly altered present we’ll find ourselves in, yeah?)
In any case, we figured that this is a local thing for people to know about. And we feel so lucky ourselves, having you among our readers, and so we’re sharing the knowledge.
