Gay Place

SXSW through a rainbow prism

By Kate X Messer, March 20, 2015, Columns

So long, farewell! Auf Wiedersehen, adieu!

Adieu, adieu, to you and you and you!

Welp, another SXSW hits the home stretch. We hope we've helped you find your tribe and navigate the maze of craziness. As the big Fest blows out on Saturday and begins to cool down on Sunday, across town on the Eastside, the lovely tradition of GayBiGayGay gathers. What began as a backyard party has grown into an annual gathering of the modern queer tribes. You can bring a blanket, lawnchairs, a cooler, and just spread out for the day. The party continues in the evening until the wee hours.

See you at GayBiGayGay? Have a safe trip back (or nice downtime, if you're local) and please do stay in touch. Follow our antics all year long at austinchronicle.com/gay.

Many thanks to Neha Aziz, Blake McCoy, and Carmen Rising for massive SXSW assistance.
