What Festival? This Is How I Always Dress. They rolled out of bed a few minutes ago, threw on acid-washed denim and ironic, tattoo-baring tees (at least I hope the Nugent one is ironic), and somehow outclass everyone on South Congress. They are Austin's cool girls, and lucky for street photographers, they're also sweet as pie.

The Locals

Obviously, Austin residents have a leg up when it comes to SXSW fashion. After all, they wake up every morning within a few feet of their own closets. But there's also an Austin sensibility that will always look supremely, stylishly, divinely at home on our sun-beaten streets. Today "The Good Eye" celebrates the locals who reap the best and the worst of SXSW, and offers our many visitors a handy guide to some of the ATX types you are likely to see wandering the streets during your stay in our fair city.
