If you compare the ratio of government employment to popu­lation, the public sector – federal, state, and local government employees – is smaller now than it has been since 1968. The public sector has cut 680,000 jobs since 2009.

"Knock Knock" jokes first became popular during Prohibition, when people used them as a secret code to gain entrance to speakeasies.
